Harvey Milk Institute (415-552-7200) Offers queer studies classes and conferences, and co-sponsors projects for the lesbian and gay community.

PRIDE PARADE
The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride Parade and Celebration (415-864-3733), held on the last weekend in June, defines the culture of the community. As the world's largest gay and lesbian event, it also includes entertainment, booths, dance arenas and community events.
